I have a writing partner, Kat, my Mackerel Tabby rescue cat.  She is my constant companion when I am working, or when I am resting, or when I’m eating, or painting.  She very rarely leaves my side unless it is to cat- chirp at a squirrel or a bird she would love to tackle.
